Former Irish Manager for Match of the Day

The BBC have announced that Mick McCarty is to join Gary Linekar and Colin Murray on Match of the Day. The former Irish Republic manager will be joining The Match of the Day team with Harry Redknapp. Match of the Day returns to its usual slot of Saturday's at 10:30 on BBC One, while Match of the Day 2 moves to BBC One on Sunday nights at 10:25.

Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer will continue on the show through out the season.

Colin Murray's Match of the Day 2 continues on Sunday nights in it new home of BBC One. He will be joined by a mix of the pundits and special guest pundits through out the season.
