SAORVIEW with freeview spillover

You have already made the switch to Digital. There are plenty more options available to you and Saorview are planning more channels as time goes on. Congratulations we hope you are enjoying the crystal clear pictures, sound and HD on RTÉ Two. Make sure your equipment is Saorview approved.

Note: Freeview STBs/TVs are not compatible with Saorview.

Note: Saorview STBs/TVs are compatible with Freeview, but not with FreeView HD.

Note: Freeview HD STBs/TVs are compatiable with FreeView and Saorview however it is important to get such equipment that is Saorview approved.

According to ComReg (Ireland's Communications Regulator) as of May 2012 just 2% of have access to FreeView, which replaces UK TV signals on October 24th, 2012.
