November's Late Late Toy Show, I'm a Celebrity and Sports coverage have all help Irish TV achieve a 50% share of the audience. The return of sporting fixtures since October has result in a boom for Irish Broadcasters. 49.65% of viewers tuned to Irish Broadcasters in November 2020, the continued increase in audience from October's 48.48% share, the highest audience achieved by Irish broadcasters in the last 6 years. RTÉ's average share of the audience was up 7% month-on-month, on an annual basis it was up 9% in November 2020. Virgin Media saw no change month-on-month, but it was up 6% year-on-year. Sport, Toys, News and Celebrity all helping the November ratings.


TG4 had an audience share of 1.57%.

RTÉ ONE saw a monthly drop of 2%, it had an audience share of 21%, up 4% from this time last year.

RTÉ2 was up 57% since last month, as the GAA Championships get into the final stages, achieving its highest ratings since October 2019 with a 7% share, it was up by 34% from November 2019.

RTÉ ONE +1 and RTÉjr had 1.03% and 0.36% respectively. RTÉ2 +1 had 0.21% in November 2020.

Virgin Media one audience share was 13% November, a 1% increase from October, and a 5% increase year on year.

Virgin Media TWO has a 3% share, down 16% from last month and down 3% from November 2019.

Meanwhile, Virgin Media THREE was at 2%, up 20% from October and up 31% from November 2019. Virgin Media one +1 had an audience share of 0.27%.

eirSport1 and Virgin Media Sport both retained their shares as their rights issues continued, with 0.16% and 0.15% share of the audience, respectively.

English channels had 50% share of the audience in November 2020.
