1,264 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Yesterday (19th February 2021) a total of 1,254 COVID-19 cases were detected across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 988. In Northern Ireland 276 cases were detected. 325,095 COVID cases have been detected since the pandemic began in 2020.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 988 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 19th of February, with 24 deaths reported. Overall 4,135 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for February 18th. The total number admitted to hospital with COVID-19 was 12,326 cases, UP 36.
A total of 58 Health Care Workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 18th. A total of 26,607 health care workers contracted COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Northern Ireland
The Northern Irish Health Department announced 276 cases. They report 3 COVID related deaths, 2,029 have died in the north since the pandemic began.
7 people were admitted to hospital on the 19th of February. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 8,682.
