1,085 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Yesterday (15th February 2021) a total of 1,085 COVID-19 cases were detected across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 744. In Northern Ireland 341 cases were detected. 320,601 COVID cases have been detected since the pandemic began in 2020.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 744 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 15th of February, with 31 deaths reported. Overall 3,980 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for February 14th. The total number admitted to hospital with COVID-19 was 12,30 cases, UP 55.
A total of 123 Health Care Workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 14th. A total of 26,279 health care workers contracted COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Northern Ireland
The Northern Irish Health Department announced 341 cases. They report 9 COVID related deaths, 2,009 have died in the north since the pandemic began.
26 people were admitted to hospital on the 15th of February. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 8,595.
