1,381 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Yesterday (12th February 2021) a total of 1,381 COVID-19 cases were detected across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 1,078. In Northern Ireland 303 cases were detected. 317,533 COVID cases have been detected since the pandemic began in 2020.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 1,078 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 12th of February, with 42 death reported. Overall 3,931 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for February 11th. The total number admitted to hospital with COVID-19 was 11,867 cases, UP 89.
A total of 107 Health Care Workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 11th. A total of 26,063 health care workers contracted COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Northern Ireland
The Northern Irish Health Department announced 303 cases. They report 10 COVID related deaths, 1,985 have died in the north since the pandemic began.
6 people were admitted to hospital on the 12th of February. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 8,523.
