1,119 Covid Cases Across Ireland

Yesterday (10th February 2021) a total of 1,119 COVID-19 cases were detected across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 862. In Northern Ireland 253 cases were detected. 314,828 COVID cases have been detected since the pandemic began in 2020.


Republic of Ireland

The headline figures show a total of 862 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 10th of February, with 33 death reported. Overall 3,846 COVID related deaths have been announced.

The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for February 9th. The total number admitted to hospital with COVID-19 was 11,749 cases, UP 75.

A total of 162 Health Care Workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 9th. A total of 25,831 health care workers contracted COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

Northern Ireland

The Northern Irish Health Department announced 253 cases. They report 9 COVID related deaths, 1,966 have died in the north since the pandemic began.

9 people were admitted to hospital on the 10th of February. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 8,463.
