1,328 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Yesterday (11th February 2021) a total of 1,328 COVID-19 cases were detected across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 921. In Northern Ireland 407 cases were detected. 316,154 COVID cases have been detected since the pandemic began in 2020.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 921 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 11th of February, with 23 death reported. Overall 3,865 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for February 10th. The total number admitted to hospital with COVID-19 was 11,778 cases, UP 29.
A total of 125 Health Care Workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 10th. A total of 25,956 health care workers contracted COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Northern Ireland
The Northern Irish Health Department announced 407 cases. They report 9 COVID related deaths, 1,975 have died in the north since the pandemic began.
14 people were admitted to hospital on the 11th of February. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 8,499.
