639 Covid Cases Across Ireland

Six hundred and thirty-nine COVID-19 cases across the Island of Ireland. This brings the total cases to 126,956. The HSE and the Department of health announce 183 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 456 new cases were announced.


Republic of Ireland

The headline figures show a total of 183 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 2nd of December, with 6 death reported. Overall 2,080 COVID related deaths have been announced.

The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for December 1st. Forty-two were healthcare workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 5,255 cases, up 15.

Northern Ireland

Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 456 to 53,728 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 4,252, up 10.

Northern Ireland recorded eleven further deaths. There have been 1,026 COVID related death
