650 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Six hundred and fifty COVID-19 cases were announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 124,416. The HSE and the Department of health announce 299 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 351 new cases were announced.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 299 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 28th of November, with two deaths reported. Overall 2,052 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health did not announced full hospital figures for November 27th. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 5,191 cases, as of the 26th of November.
A total of 1,780 COVID-19 were reported for the weekending the 28th of November, down 778 (30%) from the previous week. Total deaths with COVID-19 was reported as 29 for the week, down 15.
Northern Ireland
Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 351 to 52,175 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 4,174, up 23.
Northern Ireland recorded three further deaths. There have been 986 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
A total of 2,391 COVID-19 were reported for the weekending the 28th of November, down 562 (19%) from the previous week. Total deaths with COVID-19 was reported as 53 was down 25, while total adimission to hospital were down 51.
