811 New Cases of COVID19
Eight hundred and eleven COVID-19 cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 44,159 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 11th, fifty-four cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,843 cases (up 21). Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 863 to 21,898 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 2,050 (Up 34).
The headline figures show a total of 811 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 12th of October, with three new deaths reported. Overall 1,830 COVID related deaths have been announced.
Northern Ireland recorded seven further deaths. There have been 598 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
The Island of Ireland had an increase of 1,674 cases, bring the total number on the Island to 66,057.
