518 New Cases of COVID19
Five hundred and eighteen COVID-19 cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 38,549 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 3rd, twenty-four cases were health care workers. Twenty-five people were admitted to hospital (The highest admission since May 15th). The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,678 cases. Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 616 to 14,690 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 1,894 (Up 34 since 1st October).
The headline figures show a total of 518 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 4th of October, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,810 COVID related deaths have been announced.
Northern Ireland recorded no further deaths. There have been 584 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
