364 New Cases of COVID19
Three hundred and sixty-four COVID-19 cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 38,032 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 2nd, twenty-four cases were health care workers. Ten people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,653 cases. Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 462 to 14,074 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital is 1,860 since the begin of the COVID-19 crisis in Northern Ireland.
The headline figures show a total of 364 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 3rd of October, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,810 COVID related deaths have been announced.
Northern Ireland recorded one further death. There have been 584 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
3,042 COVID cases were reported for the weekending the 3rd of October, 2020. Up 985 from the previous week. 2,342 cases were reported for the weekending the 2nd of May, 2020.
