RTÉ saw their share market share decrease by 3% in October. TV3 were up 10%, while TG4 was down 25%. On a yearly basis RTÉ was up 2% from this time last year, while TV3 was up 7% and TG4 was up 13%. Overall Irish Channels saw a 6% increase in October from the same time last year.

October TV sees a drop in audiences for RTÉ overall.

RTÉ ONE was up 5% from this time last month, and up 3 percent from this time last year. RTÉ ONE had a total average audience of 18.3%. RTÉ2 was down 25% from last month but it was up 5% from this time last year. RTÉ2 had an average audience of 5.5% for October. RTÉ ONE +1 had 0.72% share, with RTÉjr getting 0.7%.

Over in TV3 land October saw a monthly increase, a 10% increase from last year.

TV3 was up 7% from last month, but as to be expect up 60% from this time last year, with the return of the ITV soaps. TV3 had a total audience share of 12.24%.

3e was up 4% from last month and up 24% from this time last year. 3e had a total audience of 2.87% in October.

be3, which took over from UTV Ireland, was down 61% from UTV Ireland's figure last year, again down this time to the loss of the ITV soaps, the channel was up 8% from last month. be3 had an average share of 2.33%.

TG4 saw a 25% drop from last month and 13% gain from this time last year. TG4 had an average audience share of 1.78%.

RTÉ total audience share was 25.22%, with TV3 having 17.95% for the month of October.

eir Sport 1 had 0.07%. Other channels accounted for 54.98% of the total viewing audience.
