The channel airs RTÉ2\'s programming an hour later from the main channel. It\'s current audience share is 0.22%, while RTÉ2\'s audience share in January 2021 was just 3.88%. The channel will be placed on channel 202 on the Sky TV guide, while it is currently available on Saorview\'s Channel 12. Last month TG4 launched it plus 1 and plus 2 services online.

Coverage of the Women's World Cup continues to grow on RTÉ with the average audience for the Semi-Final (USA V England) getting 220,000 viewers. The Audience peaked at 316,700 viewers at 9:45 as the game reached its conclusion. The share of the audience was at 20%.
