Sinn Féin and Left Rise in Poll
Sinn Féin and left wing political parties have all seen a rise in support in the latest opinion poll carried bout by Ireland Thinks for The Mail on Sunday. Together opposition parties have 46% support. Independents have 9% support, while government parties (Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and The Green Party) are also on 46%. Fine Gael remain Sinn Fein's closest rival with 26%. Fianna Fail is at 15% while The Green Party are at 5%. The Social Democrats are on 6%, followed by The Labour Party on 5%.
