907 Covid Cases Across Ireland

Nine hundred and seven COVID-19 cases have been announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 128,576. The HSE and the Department of health announce 456 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 451 new cases were announced.


Republic of Ireland

The headline figures show a total of 456 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 4th of December, with 13 deaths reported. Overall 2,099 COVID related deaths have been announced.

The HSE and Department of Health announced full hospital figures for December 3rd. Thirty-seven were healthcare workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 5,296 cases, up 18.

Northern Ireland

Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 451 to 54,628 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 4,307, up 27.

Northern Ireland recorded seven further deaths. There have been 1,037 COVID related death
