432 New Cases of COVID19
Four hundred and thirty-two COVID-19 cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 38,973 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 4th, forty-five cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,676 cases. Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 669 to 15,359 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 1,885 (Up 2).
The headline figures show a total of 432 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 5th of October, with one death reported. Overall 1,811 COVID related deaths have been announced.
Northern Ireland also recorded one further death. There have been 585 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
