188 New Cases of COVID19
One hundred and eighty-eight COVID-19 cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 33,121 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for September 19th, twenty-one cases were health care workers. Ten people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,524 cases. Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 125 to 9,466 in total. The total admissions to hospital is 1,693 since the begin of the COVID-19 crisis.
The headline figures show a total of 188 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 20th of September, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,792 COVID related deaths have been announced.
Northern Ireland recorded two further deaths were announced. There have been 577 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
The weekending the 19th of September shows an increase of 635 cases of covid-19, of which .122 were health care workers.
