254 New Cases of COVID19

Two hundred and fifty-four covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 31,799 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for September 14th, twenty cases were health care workers. Seven people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,469 cases. Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show a total of 8,631 in total with 1,618 hospitalized, since the begin of the COVID-19 crisis.


The headline figures show a total of 254 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 15th of September, with three deaths reported. Overall 1,788 COVID related deaths have been announced.
