208 New Cases of COVID19
Two hundred and eight covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 31,192 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for September 12th, fourteen cases were health care workers. Five people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,457 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 208 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 13th of September, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,784 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The total number of cases reported for the weekending the 12th of September came to 1,313, the highest weekly figure since the weekending the 16th of May, when 1,142 cases were announced. 118 of those were healthcare workers.
