255 New Cases of COVID19
Two hundred and fifty-five covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 30,985 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for September 11th, thirteen cases were health care workers. Seven people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,452 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 255 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 12th of September, with one death reported. Overall 1,784 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The total number of cases reported for the weekending the 12th of September came to 1,313, the highest weekly figure since the weekending the 16th of May, when 1,142 cases were announced.
