142 New Cases of COVID19

One hundred and forty-two new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 28,720 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 27th, ten cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,386 cases.

The headline figures show a total of 142 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 28th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,777 COVID related deaths have been announced.
