127 New Cases of COVID19

One hundred and twenty-seven new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 28,578 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 26th, fourteen cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,384 cases.

The headline figures show a total of 127 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 27th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,777 COVID related deaths have been announced.
