147 New Cases of COVID19
One Hundred and Forty-seven new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 28,116 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 22nd, three cases were health care workers. Two people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,398 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 147 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 23th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,777 COVID related deaths have been announced.
For the weekending August 22nd there were a total of 712 new covid case, up 67 from the previous week. 52 new case were found in Healthcare workers, up 9 from the previous week.
