61 New Cases of COVID19

Sixty-one new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 27,969 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 20th and 21st, fourteen cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,396 cases.

The headline figures show a total of 61 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 22th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,777 COVID related deaths have been announced.
