190 New Cases of COVID19

One Hundred and Ninety new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 27,499 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 16th, nine cases were health care workers. One people was admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,388 cases.

The headline figures show a total of 190 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 17th of August, with one death reported. Overall 1,775 COVID related deaths have been announced.
