Irish Finalist for New York Radio Awards

RTÉ Radio, 98FM and Classic Hits 4FM have all been announced as finalist for this years New York Festivals World's Best Radio Programmes. Independent Radio Producers Zoe Comyns, The Audio Orchard, Riviera Media Group, Athena Media and Clockwork Communications have also been listed as finalist for the competition.

RTÉ Radio has 23 finalist in the competition, Independent Radio Producer Zoe Comyns is a finalist in 3 categories Best Drama Special, Best Sound and Best Writing for her drama Flights of Fancy. 98FM's Dermot & Dave are finalist in the Best Comedy/Humor Personality in a local market. Athena Media is hoping to receive an award for their Historical Documentary Death of an Empire. Classic Hits 4FM have made the final with Rhoda's Story in the Best Human Interest Story Category. Clockwork Communications have been selected for the final of the Religious Programmes Category for their documentary My Bar Mitzvah in the Holy Land. The Education series Sound Matters has been nominated in the Educational category.
