Breaking Bad Returns to TG4

TG4 will broadcast the final season of Breaking Bad from the 8th of January 2014. The highly acclaimed series was shown on the channel over the course of 2012 and 2013. TG4 will finish the series off a few months after its original run on AMC and Netflix. Joining Breaking Bad on TG4 in the New Year is the highly acclaimed Danish political drama Borgen, which starts on the 30th January 2014. Irish short film series Scéal (Story) returns on the 7th of Janurary 2014.

Other new series for TG4 in 2014 include An Ceoldráma (The Musical) which follows Gaelscoil Charraig Uí Leighin and Gaelscoil Ultain getting ready for the annual Féile Scoildrámaíochta (School Drama Festival).

A new regional series will start on the 10th of January, Ar Fud na Tíre (Across the Country) with Eibhlín Ní Choisdealbha.

Agus tá Harry Potter ar an aer as Gaeilge. Each Saturday (Gach Satharn) from the 11th of January (11ú Eanáir) all Harry Potter films will be screened in the Irish Language.

Other series starting in the New Year include Bliain in Inis Mór, Seo Spórt, Bog Stop and Ponc.
