660 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Six hundred and sixty COVID-19 cases were announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 120,245. The HSE and the Department of health announce 318 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 342 new cases were announced.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 318 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 21st of November, with one death reported. Overall 2,023 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for November 20th, thirty-four cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 5,043 cases, up 11.
There were 49 extra cases for the weekending 21st of November, compared to the previous week. A total of 44 people died during the week with covid-19, up 12.
Northern Ireland
Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 342 to 49,784 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 3,916, up 23.
Northern Ireland recorded ten further deaths. There have been 933 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
There was a reduction of 961 cases for the weekending 21st of November, compared to the previous week. A total of 78 people died during the week with covid-19, up 4. Total admission for the week in Northern Ireland was 309, down 33.
