1,338 Covid Cases Across Ireland

One thousand, three hundred and thirty-eight COVID-19 cases were announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 98,841. The HSE and the Department of health announce 772 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 566 new cases were announced.


Republic of Ireland

The headline figures show a total of 772 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 29th of October, with six new deaths reported. Overall 1,908 COVID related deaths have been announced.

The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 27th, thirty-five cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 4,348 cases, up 46.

Northern Ireland

Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 566 to 37,782 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 2,826, up 44.

Northern Ireland recorded nine further deaths. There have been 697 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
