1,505 Covid Cases Across Ireland

One thousand, five hundred and five COVID-19 cases were announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 95,828. The HSE and the Department of health announce 667 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 840 new cases were announced.


Republic of Ireland

The headline figures show a total of 667 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 27th of October, with six new deaths reported. Overall 1,896 COVID related deaths have been announced.

The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for October 26th, thirty-eight cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 4,254 cases, up 22.

Northern Ireland

Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 840 to 36,394 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 2,738, up 40.

Northern Ireland recorded nine further deaths. There have been 680 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
