307 New Cases of COVID19
Three hundred and seven covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 30,080 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for September 6th, nine cases were health care workers. Two people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,429 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 307 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 7th of September, with one death reported. Overall 1,778 COVID related deaths have been announced.
This is the highest daily number of new COVID cases since may 13th, when 368 cases were announced. The death occurs after nearly two weeks without a reported death.
