53 New Cases of COVID19
Fifty-three new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 28,811 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 29th, seven cases were health care workers. Six people were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,400 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 53 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 30th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,777 COVID related deaths have been announced.
791 new cases were reported for thee weekending the 29th of August, 2020, up 79 from the previous week. 9% of all cases were health care workers or 75 of the total number reported.
