57 New Cases of COVID19
Fifty-seven new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 26,768 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 8th, two cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,364 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 57 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 9th of August, with no deaths reported. Overall 1,772 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The weekending August 8th a total of 550 cases, of them 21 where healthcare workers.
