174 New Cases of COVID19
One Hundred and Seventy-Four new covid cases were announced by the HSE tonight, this brings the total cases to 26,644 in the Republic of Ireland. The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for August 6th, three cases were health care workers. 2 cases were admitted to hospital. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 3,364 cases.
The headline figures show a total of 174 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 7th of August, with 1 deaths reported. Overall 1,772 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The first seven days of August has seen the number of cases jump over the total number of cases report in June by 117 cases.
