Summer Time Ends on TV

As summer time sports come to an end Irish Broadcasters see their audience drop significantly. RTÉ2's coverage of GAA is reduced as it enters its final stages, this week saw no GAA coverage on RTÉ2 with its highest programme getting just 92,000 viewers for the movie This Is My Father, while live coverage of APOEL Nicosia V Ajax had just 58,000 viewers. RTÉ ONE top the charts with its repeat of Reeling in the Years and Mrs Brown's Boys. Reeling in the Years had 279,000 viewers in First place, 254,000 viewers in second place and 219,000 viewers in forth place, Mrs Brown had 224,000 viewers in 3rd place, with RTÉ ONE's Nationwide making 5th place with 219,000 viewers. Daniel O'Connell Forgotten King Of Ireland beat Coronation Street to 10th position, with the Virgin Media TV Soap getting 207,000 adult viewers.
