TV3 New Season

TV3 have announced their new season of shows for Autumn/Winter 2017. The big news is the arrival of Ireland's Got Talent, the latest version of the worldwide hit TV show. Drama includes what could be the final series of Red Rock, but brand new drama in Darklands. A new documentry strand takes over on the channels, with True Lives. The official announcement that Vincent Browne Tonight was to be replaced by The Tonight Show.

Virgin Media's TV3 announced a brand new set of programmes for the 2017 season from the National Concert Hall in Dublin. The big announcement was the arrival of Ireland's Got Talent with host Lucy Kennedy and Judges Louis Walsh, Jason Byrne, Denise Van Outen and Michelle Visage. The series is set to start at the end of January 2018.

Blind Date is ready to go on the channel with host Al Porter. More on the love front as desparate singletons face up to loneliness with Maia Dunphy on Heartbreak Hotel.

Lucy Kennedy also returns for her weekly chat show Living With Lucy as she takes to life with Davy Fitzgerald, Micheal Healy-Rea and Daniella Westbrook.

Gogglebox returns for a 3rd season.

TV3 have swipped RTÉ series Showhouse, and Neville Knott returns as host with Showhouse Showdown the series will be co-hosted by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. The Restaurant also returns for a 4th season on TV3.

ITV favourites remain on the channel with Coronation Street going to 6 nights a week in 2018, the usual gang return, The X-Factor, The Voice UK, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Britian's Got Talent.

After their successful airing of The Rugby World Cup in 2015 TV3 return to Rugby with Six Nations Coverage in 2018, Ronan O'Gara will return as pundit. TV3 will also continue to cover Tuesday Nights UEFA Champion League matches and Racing from England.

A new look TV3 News will appear on screen in September with news at 12:30, 5:30 on TV3 and 7pm and 10pm news on be3.

Pat Kenny Tonight is renamed to The Pat Kenny Show, while Ivan Yeats and Matt Cooper will co-host The Tonight Show. David McWilliam's Agenda is replaced by The Sunday Show with Sarah McInerney, while David McWilliams presents David McWilliams' Ireland.

TV3 have retain UTV Ireland agricultural programme Rare Breed which is supported by Fota Wildlife Park, Along Home Shores, The Town, Paramedics and Dogtales.

Drama includes crime series Darklands, season 2 of Smalltown and Red Rock. The Bailout will uncover the lead up to the banking bailout.

And of course Ireland AM, Elaine, The Six O'Clock Show and Xpose.
