RTE saw a 5% gain in audience month on month for July, with RTE ONE down slight and RTE 2 up 26% from June. TV3 channels were down 7% month on month. TG4 saw a 5% increase, with no change to eir Sport 1.

July TV see a increase in audience for RTÉ. RTÉ ONE was down 1% from this time last month, and losing over 6 percent from this time last year. RTÉ ONE had a total average audience of 16.64%. RTÉ2 was up 26% from last month and was up nearly 4% from this time last year. RTÉ2 had an average audience of 7.33% for July. RTÉ ONE +1 had 0.87% share, with RTÉjr getting 0.8%.

Over in TV3 land July saw monthly decrease, but little change from July last year. TV3 was down 8% from last month, but as to be expect up 42% from this time last year, with the return of the ITV soaps. TV3 had a total audience share of 9.96%. 3e was down 9% from last month and up 23% from this time last year. 3e had a total audience of 3.12% in July. be3, which took over from UTV Ireland, was down 60% from UTV Ireland's figure last year, again down this time to the loss of the ITV soaps, the channel was also down 3% from last month. be3 had an average share of 2.31%.

TG4 saw a 5% increase from last month and 8% from this time last year. TG4 had an average audience share of just 1.4%.

RTÉ total audience share was 25.64%, with TV3 having 15.88% for the month of July.

UTV had an audience of 1.15% in May. An eir Sport 1 had 0.16%. Other channels accounted for 57% of the total viewing audience, with Sky channels receiving 6% followed by the BBC with 5%.
