Miss Marple investigates a murder on a film set starring feuding Hollywood stars Marina Rudd and Lola Brewster. When a local woman dies after drinking a poisoned cocktail made for Marina, everyone assumes the actress was the intended victim because she had received death threats. However, the sleuthing spinster is not convinced.
