Sports and Toys bring Winter Sun
November's winder sports coverage and the annual Late Late Toy Show helped RTÉ get 28% of the audience with Virgin Media TV retain 19%. The Late Late Toy Show topped the TV charts once more, with an average audience of 1.8 million across the week. The live show had 1.56 million people tuned to the annual event, with additional 292,000 viewers watching on RTÉ ONE +1 and the Saturday repeat. RTÉ also scored well with sports getting a 6% of the audience, with the Irish Women's stunning win against Georgia getting an average audience of 209,000 viewers, along with 131,000 for FAI coverage and 686,000 for Ireland V New Zealand in Rugby.
TG4 had an audience share of 2%.
RTÉ ONE saw a monthly increase in audience of 4%, it had an audience share of 20%, down 1% from November last year.
RTÉ2 saw its share increase by 25% from last month, achieving 6% share, it was down by 5% from November 2020.
RTÉ ONE +1 and RTÉjr had 1.05% and 0.32% respectively. RTÉ2 +1 had 0.20% in November.
Virgin Media one's audience share was 13% in November, an increase of 5% from October, but a drop of 1% year on year.
Virgin Media TWO has a 4% share, up 3% from last month and up 20% from November 2020.
Meanwhile, Virgin Media THREE was at 2%, down 11% from October and up 9% from November 2020. Virgin Media one +1 had an audience share of 0.32%.
Virgin Media Sport had 0.11%.
English channels had 51% share of the audience in November 2021.
