3,546 Covid Cases Across Ireland in Past Week
The past week has seen a total of 3,546. The 15th of May saw a total of 506 new COVID-19 cases across the Island of Ireland. The HSE and the Department of health announced 3,019 cases. In Northern Ireland 527 cases were reported. In total there have been 382,351 COVID cases since the pandemic began in 2020.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 440 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 25th of May, with no deaths reported. Overall 4,937 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE have suspended the covid 19 information website due to security breach.
The weekending the 25th of May saw an increase in cases of 48 from the previous week, the total number diagnosed was 3,019 between the 19th and 25th of May.
The Northern Irish Health Department announced 66 cases on the 25th of May. They reported no COVID related deaths, 2,152 have died in the north since the pandemic began.
1 person was admitted to hospital on the 25th of May. The total numbers admitted to hospital since the pandemic began is 9,429.
The weekending the 25th of May saw a decrease in cases of 70 from the previous week, the total number diagnosed was 527 between the 19th and 25th of May. No deaths were reported for this week. 10 people were admitted to hospital.
