Cambridge Court Murder Investigation

Gardaí are investigating the murder of Tomas Horan(63), which occurred in his flat in Cambridge Court, Irishtown. This follows the results of a post mortem carried out by Professor Marie Cassidy, she concluded that the man had died from internal injuries. An incident room has been set up at Irishtown Garda Station. Gardaí arrested a man (27) and a woman (37), they are currently being detained at Donnybrook and Irishtown Garda Stations.

Tomas Horan's body was found on Monday (06/1/14) at 04:00. The Gardaí initated an investigation into what they considered his suspicious death.

Gardai are appealling to any person who may have been in the Cambridge Court/Road area, Irishtown between 22:00 on Sunday 5th January, 2014 and 04:00 on Monday 6th January, 2014 to contact them at Irishtown Garda Station on 01 - 6669600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
