850 Covid Cases Across Ireland
Eight hundred and fifty COVID-19 cases were announced across the Island of Ireland tonight. This brings the total cases to 114,734 The HSE and the Department of health announce 378 new cases in the Republic of Ireland, meanwhile in Northern Ireland 472 new cases were announced.
Republic of Ireland
The headline figures show a total of 378 new cases as of 12 midnight on the 14th of November, with one death reported. Overall 1,979 COVID related deaths have been announced.
The HSE and Department of Health also announced full hospital figures for November 13th, forty-nine cases were health care workers. The total number admitted to hospital stands at 4,854 cases, up 20.
The week-ending November 14th there were 2,509 cases reported, a drop of 883 from the previous week. The number of reported deaths from COVID remained at 32.
Northern Ireland
Figures announced by the Northern Irish Health Department show an increase in cases of 472 to 46,831 cases in total. The total admissions to hospital in Northern Ireland is 3,607, up 26.
Northern Ireland recorded nine further deaths. There have been 855 COVID related deaths in Northern Ireland.
The week-ending November 14th there were 6,423 cases reported, a drop of 770 from the previous week. The number of reported deaths from COVID was 74.
