An Post Irish Book Award Nominees Announced

The An Post Irish Book Awards announced their nominations for 2020 today (10 October 2020). The five nominees for the Eason Novel of the Year are, Actress by Anne Enright, The Wild Laughter by Caoilinn Hughes, Strange Flowers by Donal Ryan, As You Were by Elaine Feeney , The Pull of the Stars by Emma Donoghue and Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell. Jornalist Keelin Shanley is posthumously nominated twice for the Ireland AM Popular Non-Fiction Book of the Year and for RTÉ Radio 1 Listeners' Choice Award for her memoir A Light that Never Goes Out. RTÉ ONE will broadcast a new show focusing on the winner of the overall "An Post Irish Book of the Year" on December 10th. The Awards Ceremony will take place on the 25th November.
