Six One Shake Up

RTÉ News has announced 2 new presenters for their main evening news. Six One news will get a change of presenters from January 2018, with Keelin Shanley and Caitriona Perry taking over from Bryan Dobson and Sharon Ní Bheolain. Bryan Dobson had already been announced as a new presenter on RTÉ Radio 1's Morning Ireland. Sharon Ní Bheolain will move to the Nine O'Clock news on rotation with Eileen Dunne. Sharon Ní Bheolain will also present the monthly crime show Crimecall and continue in her role as presenter of Leaders Questions.

Keelin Shanley has present many news shows on RTÉ including the short lived morning show Morning Edition, Morning Ireland, Prime Time, Election Debates and other various factual programmes for RTÉ Television.

Caitríona Perry moves from her role as RTÉ's Washington Correspondent, RTÉ have yet to announce her replacement.
