Suspected Arrson Attack in Coolock

Gardaí investigating a fire at Coolock Village Retail Centre have arrested a man in his 20s. The man was arrested on Monday (04/09/17).

Gardaí and the Dublin Fire Brigade were called to a fire at the Coolock Village Retail Park in the early hours of Monday morning. The fire cause damage to a number of units at the centre before being brought under control by members of the Dublin Fire Brigade.

Garda Crime Scene Examiners carried out a forensic examination of the scene.

A 25 year old man was arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Coolock Garda Station.
