British General Election Opinion Poll

The last UK General Election opinion poll was carried out on the 26 and 27 of May, a few days before May and Corbyn's Battle for Number 10 questions and answers session on Sky and Channel 4. The poll was carried out by Survation for ITV's Good Morning Britain.

The Conservatives remain the most popular party in the UK with 43% intending to vote for the party, however their lead is now down to 6% compared to 21% when the election was called.

The Labour Party are on a crest of a wave continuing to win their uphill battle. The party now stands at 37%.

The Liberal Democrates continuing to poll at 8%.

Other parties have 11%, UKIP have seen their support diminish now down to just 4%, with support for the SNP at 2%, the Green's are at 1% and others are at 4%.

In Scotland its a completely different picture. The latest poll shows The Scottish Nationalist Party with a 10% lead in a poll conducted by Survey Monkey for The Scottish Sun.

Labour in a similar situation in Scotland as in the rest of the country seeing their popularity rise to 25%, coming close to the Conservative Party's 29%.

Other parties have 7% of the vote, with the Liberal Democrats at 4% and UKIP at 1%.

In Wales a You Gov/ITV poll puts Labour in poll position with 44% a 10% lead, the conservatives are at 34%. Plaid, the Welsh independence party is at 9%, while other are at 13%.

The DUP had 29% share of the vote, Sinn Fein at 28%, the UUP at 16%, the SDLP at 14%, Alliance at 10% and others at 4%.
