The north pole has stated that it does not envisage the normal services being provide on Christmas Day. The North Pole\'s Secretary of Christmas Day Travel has said that as an older person Santa is in the high risk category. The Secretary has consulted with North Pole Health Exercise and Training (NPHET) who have informed her even on in a good year Santa is old and obsess, and this year he failed to keep up his usual routine. It had been suggested by some governments around the world that Mrs Claus could take over, however according to one source close the north pole, she just as old and as fat. They are optimistic that they can make it happen this Christmas Day.
The Late Late Toy Show as again top the charts for 2017s most watch TV show, and its unlikely to have any really competition for the rest of the year as it comes to an end. The annual festive edition of The Late Late Show attracted 1.2million Irish viewers on Friday Night (1st December 2017). The Little Mermaid themed show also had 149,000 recordings for later viewing. The main show peaked at 1.34 million and it had a reach of 1.7million giving it a massive 72% share of the TV viewing audience.
The Road Safety Authority has launched its annual Christmas Driving Campaign. The Morning After campaign advises drivers to remember how much that have had to drink the night before. According to the RSA 400 drink driving incidents took place between 8am and 1pm during the first 9 months of the year. Drivers are reminded that it takes one hour for the body to rid itself of one standard drink (half pint, small glass of wine and a measure of spirits).
