Cast Announced for BBC's The Lady Vanishes
The BBC have announced the cast for Fiona Seres's Adaptation of The Lady Vanishes, which is commissioned for BBC One. The cast will included Selian Cadell as Miss Froy, Tuppence Middleton as Iris and Tom Hughes as Max. The 90 minute psychological thriller is based on the Novel The Wheel Spins by Ethel Lina White, Alfred Hitchcock directed the 1938 film adaptation under the title The Lady Vanishes.
The Lady Vanishes will be directed by Diarmuid Lawrence and is produced in-house by BBC Drama Production.
Fiona Seres, writer, said: “I am very excited to have such a brilliant cast for the Lady Vanishes not just the key characters played by Tuppence Middleton and Tom Hughes but also a dynamic supporting cast that includes Danish actors Benedikte Hansen and Jesper Christensen.”
